    On May 8, 2021, the establishment event of South China headquarters of Shanghai Horizon Construction and Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Horizon") was solemnly held in Nansha District, Guangzhou.

At the establishment event, Ruan Xiaohong, deputy head of Nansha District of Guangzhou, first delivered a congratulatory message on behalf of Nansha District government.

She said that during the 13th Five Year Plan period, Nansha achieved a perfect end and became an important growth pole for the development of Guangzhou. The GDP of the region has increased by over 70%, the output value of industries above designated size has leaped to the second place in the city, the tax revenue has doubled, and the main economic indicators such as fixed asset investment, total import and export value and the actual utilization of foreign capital have achieved an average annual double-digit growth.

Guangzhou and Nansha District attach great importance to the development of financial leasing. Nansha financial leasing enterprises account for more than 80% of Guangzhou; The total business scale is about 500 billion yuan.

At the beginning of this year, Guangzhou issued the "Implementation Opinions on promoting the high-quality development of Guangzhou's financial leasing industry" and Nansha District issued the "three year action plan for promoting the high-quality development of Nansha's financial leasing industry", proposing to establish a national first-class, stable, standardized and complete modern financial leasing service system, Cultivate a number of leading enterprises with outstanding overall advantages and high-quality enterprises with distinctive professional characteristics.



In his speech, Zhang Chunyu, general manager of Shanghai Horizon, said that from the registration of its subsidiary in Nansha in 2015 to the official opening of South China headquarters today, Shanghai Horizon insists on sharing the same fate with Guangzhou Nansha free trade zone.

Over the years, Shanghai Horizon has actively responded to the construction of the country in the Pearl River Delta region, and fully participated in the construction of Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, Baiyun Airport, Guangzhou Shenzhen Metro, Guangdong Australia new channel and other key projects.

Nansha base in Guangzhou is the fourth self built permanent base of Shanghai Horizon, which is located as the regional headquarters of South China.

It is planned to be set up in 2015 and started construction in June 2019, which takes nearly three years and is officially completed. The base has a total building area of nearly 40000 square meters, including equipment and materials storage and logistics center, maintenance center, and operation management center.

The new base will further improve the business development and customer service of South China market, promote the business expansion of South China regional market, and provide strong guarantee for the market operation and customer service in the Pearl River Delta.
